Automatic Sliding Fifth Wheel Hitch Recommendation for 2013 Chevy Silverado
Question:
Purchasing 2013 Silverado 2500. Previous owner installed BandW convertaball gooseneck rig, but I need fifth wheel. Assume this means just taking off the existing hardware and replacing with appropriate fifth wheel, theres no conversion, correct? Interested in automatic sliding 5th wheel do you carry that type?

Easiest fifth wheel solution you have is to install the Companion hitch part # BWRVK3400. This is designed to fit the B&W gooseneck hitch you have installed and provide you with basically the nicest slider hitch around.
Down side is that it's not an automatic slider.
If a slider is what you need then you would want to go with the Demco Slider hitch part # DM8550034 which will slide automatically as you make tight turns. Then for a rail kit once you removed the B and W you would want the part # DM8552011-71 which is a confirmed fit.
