Wiring Adapter Needed to Install Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller TK90160 in F-150
Question:
Id like to install an electric brake control in my 2010 Ford F-150 FX with a factory installed Tow Package. Will the Tekinsha Primus IQ #TK 90160 work for this vehicle? What plug in adapter would I need to fit the connection on the plug behind the dash and the plug on the brake controller? Do I need anything else to complete the installation? Many thanks for your time and information.

The Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller # TK90160 and matching wiring adapter # 22292 are all you need to complete installation in your 2010 Ford F-150 FX with a factory installed Tow Package. The Primus is a proportional type controller that will detect your F-150's rate of deceleration and slow the trailer in direct proportion for less of that tug-of-war feeling between the truck and trailer.
Please refer to the linked video for more on the installation.
