Skid Wheel Recommendation for 38 Foot Long Fifth Wheel Trailer
Question:
I have a 38foot 5th wheel. I am unable to get it down my driveway as it bottoms out while backing down. I was thinking about installing skid wheels. A couple of questions: Are skid wheels recommended for a trailer this long. It appears that I need to move the trailer over a 20foot dip and raise it approximately 4-5 . Will this be a problem to the frame/integrity of the trailer frame. what wheels would you recommend to do the job and will they hold up under this large 5th wheel. Thanks

For RV's longer than 34 feet we have the skid wheels part # UF48-979013 which would work great on your 38 foot RV.
These don't have a weight capacity but based on the length of your RV and the intended design of these wheels these would work well.
I attached a review video for these wheels for you to check out as well.
