Will the P3 Brake Controller Use the Same Connector that the Prodigy Brake Controller Uses
Question:
Will the P3 controller use the same plug in that the Prodigy used in the cab mounting.This newer truck that I bought had Prodigy unit with the 4-wire flat style plug in now I would like to up grade to the P3 model and use the same flat type plug in.

Yes, the 4 flat connector that plugs into the back of your Prodigy brake controller will plug right into the back of the P3, item # 90195, brake controller and work properly.
If the original brake controller is not operating properly I recommend testing the wiring with a circuit tester, item # 3808, before installing the new brake controller to make sure the connector is wired properly. I will list the wire functions below for you.
White = Ground
Black = 12 Volt Power
Red = Brake Light Circuit from Brake Pedal
Blue = Power Feed to Electric Trailer Brakes
I have included installation instructions for the P3 Brake Controller, item # 90195, for you to review.
