Question:

I have a 2001 Toyota Camry that I would like to set up to tow behind my motorhome. Which tow bar and bracket do you suggest I use. Thank you

In order to tow your 2001 Toyota Camry you could use the RoadMaster Tracker Tow Bar - 5,000 lbs, part # RM-020, that you referenced. For base plates I would recommend you use Roadmaster EZ Base Plate Kit, part # 521157-1. I attached a link below to a page on vehicle specific base plates below that you might find helpful.

You will also need the following to complete your setup:

Magnetic Towing Light Kit, part # RM-2120, for an easy to install, less permanent solution.
Or for a more permanent solution, Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit, part # RM-154 (I attached a link below to an FAQ page on how to wire a vehicle with a diode system)
RoadMaster Safety Cables - 8,000 lbs, part # RM-645
Roadmaster Tow Bar Quick Disconnect Kit, # RM-201

You might be interested in purchasing a Roadmaster Even Brake Portable Proportional Braking System, part # RM-9400. While this is not required, it will help your motorhome handle the additional braking responsibilities of towing your Camry.

You should consult with your owners manual to determine if you can safely tow your 2001 Toyota Camry. If your Camry is a manual, most likely it will be ready to tow as-is. If it is an automatic it will most likely need a transmission lube pump to be installed.
