Can the EquaFlex Trailer Suspension System be Used to Raise the Height of a Trailer  

Question:

My 2016 Coachman Chaparral XLite 31BHS uses the Dexter standard equalizer 13-122 for its tandem axles. Could the Equi Flex be used to upgrade my suspension and add 1-2 inches in height? I need a little more clearance for 16inch wheels. Thanks!

To increase the height the equalizers alone would not do it. You would have to also increase the height of the spring hangers equal to the amount of extra height gained by the new equalizers. If you are looking for just a height increase then there is another way.

If the springs on the trailer are currently mounted below the axles you can use an over/under conversion kit to move them above the axles to get more height. There are 2 over/under kits. For 2-3/8 diameter axles you can use # K71-384-00. For 3 inch diameter axles use # K71-385-00.
