5-Pole Wiring Harness Adapter 20036 to Access Reverse Light Signal on 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe
Question:
I just installed a 4 pole tow harness #C56332 because I didnt see a 5 pole option on my 2015 Santa Fe. I see you have an adapter that ties into the reverse lights. My only issue is that these lights are on my hatch door. Is there another connection point?

There are no 5-pole wiring harness kits offered for your 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe but using your 4-pole wiring with an adapter like # 20036 to access the reverse light signal in your Santa Fe will give you the equivalent set-up. You can access the reverse light wiring on the rear hatch or if you can find a dedicated fuse location for the reverse lights (a fuse that controls only that circuit and nothing else) then you could use a fuse tap # F2526 at that fuse location to give you access to the reverse light signal.
You will need additional wire to reach from the fuse tap back to the rear of the vehicle where the 4-pole wiring is. You can use wire like # 10-1-1 along with a butt connector like # 05732-2.
Dielectric grease # 11755 can help maintain your new electrical connections by preventing entry of dirt and water.
