If you are building your own firewood hauling trailer you might want to consider one of our Timbren axle-less suspension kits. These are available with idler hubs and some also have lifted spindles that can give you better ground clearance (for use in the woods when gathering your firewood). We do have standard beam axle kits too but the Timbrens can be the ideal way to go for fabricators that want an effective but simple installation of their trailer suspension.

The linked page will display all axle kits that comes with idler hubs (for a trailer without brakes). You can click on the axle capacity you need to see all kit options.

We offer two Timbren kits rated for 2K, the 5-on-4-1/2 bolt pattern hub kit # A20RS545 and the 4-on-4 kit # A20RS440. Bearings, races and seals are included with hubs. Both can weld or bolt on to your trailer frame. If your trailer does not have a cross member above the spot where you want to install the Timbren system, you may need to reinforce the frame.

In a standard 2K beam axle kit we have Dexter options, kit # 20440I-ST-60 which is a 60-inch axle with 4-on-4 idler hubs and this kit also includes bearings, races, seals, grease, etc. Kit # 20440I-ST-72 also includes all the same parts but it is a 72-inch length.

I also linked our main page for trailer tires and wheels so you select matching items for the hubs.
