Light Stays On Dimly With Switch In Off Position On New Puma 32 Foot Trailer
Question:
This is a new camper. A puma 32 ft. 3 weeks old. We had some rain and I noticed it last night.the light was on high with the switch off. I turned the switch on then off. The light dimmed and stayed on. What is the problem? Thanks.

It sounds like you have a bad switch or a bad ground in the switch. Power is still getting through in the off position. If it is an internal switch, I would check the trailer main ground connection for metal on metal contact. You can use some dielectric grease # 11755 to keep moisture, dirt and debris out of your connections. To test your switch, use an incandescent circuit tester like # PTW2993 to test the power on the cold side of the switch.
