2017 Silverado OEM Integrated Brake Controller or Prodigy P3

Question:

Buying a new Silverado and the good deal is without the IBC. Will be using an Equalizer 4 hitch to pull trailer approximately same weight as truck. Will the 90195 P3 do everything I need, or does the IBC inherently provide more?

You aren't going to find a nicer brake controller than the Prodigy P3 part # 90195. The factory controller is decent but the P3 is literally the nicest controller you can find so I would highly recommend you go that route.

It has a lot of customizable features, diagnostics, not to mention it is a reliable and well-made controller.

All you'll need to install it is the part # 3016.
