Could Kayak Rack Foam Pad Attach to the Naked Roof of a Fifth Wheel
Question:
I want to carry two 13foot kayaks on the roof of my Grand Design Reflection 337RLS. This looks like it might work. However, I dont quite see how the kayak straps are attached to the Fifth Wheel. Can you give me some more information? The trailer has a ladder, but no roof rack. Any chance you have pictures or videos of a completed installation?

The Rightline Gear Kayak Rack part # RL100K10 is designed to fit naked roofs of vehicles. It may still work on the roof of your fifth wheel but you should note that the strap lengths are only 12 feet and the S-hooks of the straps may not have a place to attach to on your trailer.
I really think installing this kayak rack on your tow vehicle will be your better option if that's something you were considering. It's going to be very difficult getting the kayaks off and on your trailer and they may even sit too high for low clearance situations.
