For your 2015 Chevrolet Silverado, I recommend a Weight Distribution System that has Sway Control already built in, such as the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control, part # EQ37120ET. This system has a tongue weight capacity of 1,200 lbs and uses steel-on-steel friction to correct and prevent trailer sway. When choosing the appropriate weight distribution system, the most important factor to keep in mind is your setup's total tongue weight. This is calculated by adding the total tongue weight of your fully loaded trailer to any weight coming from behind the rear axle of your tow vehicle. I have also provided a helpful article about sway control and weight distribution.

I have included a video demonstration of this system for your review.

For simply adding sway control only, whether or not you have an existing weight distribution system, I recommend the Curt Friction Sway Control, part # 17200. This is a friction-style sway control system with adjustable tension that lets you set the right amount of resistance for your setup. Because your trailer is over 6,000 lbs, it is recommended to use two sway control bars, one for the driver's side and the other on the passenger side.

These can be attached to an existing weight distribution system using the included 1-1/4" hitch ball. If you do not have a weight distribution system, a weld-on tab is also included that can be welded onto your tow vehicle's ball mount.
