Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver, Ball Mount, And Wiring For 2017 Chevy Colorado
Question:
Do you have a hitch for a 2017 chevy Colorado ?

Yes. You will want the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Class III - 2", # C13203, for your 2017 Chevy Colorado. This is a bolt on installation that requires temporary removal of bumper during installation.
If you will be using this trailer hitch receiver for towing, I recommend the etrailer.com Ball Mount Kit for 2" Hitches - 7,500 lbs, # 989900. This will give you two different ball mounts with different rise or drop along with two hitch balls and the pin and clip. If you prefer an adjustable ball mount, I recommend the Curt Channel Style Adjustable Ball Mount, # C45900 which will give you two hitch balls and adjustability to tow level. I've attached an article to help you determine the correct ball mount for your needs. I also recommend the Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 2" Hitches - 2-5/8" Span, # 63232, which will take the rattle out of your ball mount or accessories as well as secure them to your hitch.
For your wiring needs, I recommend the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Connector # HM11141164. This harness will plug directly into existing wire behind each tail light without cutting or splicing required. You will run a hot lead wire (included) to your battery to avoid overloading your electrical system. This power module will protect your system and provide you with the power to run your trailer connector. This will give you a 4 way connection. If you need a trailer brake compatible connection for a trailer, I suggest using the # ETBC7 or the # ETBC6.
