For your 2011 Hyundai Elantra Touring Hatchback to get your maximum towing capacity, I recommend the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver Class I - 1-1/4", # 24844. I would use the Draw-Tite Sportframe Drawbar 4" Rise 2000 lbs Kit, # 3594, and use either a 1-7/8 inch hitch ball like # 19260 or a 2 inch hitch ball like # 19258 depending on your trailer coupler size.
For your trailer wiring, I recommend using the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector, # 118473. This wiring harness will plug directly into the factory wiring behind your tail lights and will provide you with a 4-way trailer connection.
This will give you the complete towing package for your 2011 Hyundai Elantra.
