Does Inner Cable of Tire Chain part # TC1555 Wear Out
Question:
Hi: TC1555 I noticed that the part that goes behind the tire is black the part that will essentially trace the circumference of the tire inside the wheel well. Is that part made of rubber? Or is it metal covered with rubber? I worry about durability if its made of rubber.

It's a coated metal cable. The links of the chain that contact the road of the part # TC1555 would wear out long before the piece you referenced.
