The Yakima RidgeBack 4 Bike Rack # Y02458 will not work with a dual hitch attachment. It directly states not to be used with hitch extenders.

For your application, I recommend the Swagman Trailhead 4-Bike Rack for 2" Hitches - Non-Folding, # S63381. This rack has anti-sway cradles that hold the bikes at 3 places. With this rack, I recommend the Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock and Cable for Swagman Bike Racks w/ 2" Shanks - 8-1/2' Long, # S64030 to secure your bikes and the rack to your hitch. I also recommend the Swagman Deluxe Bike Frame Adapter Bar for Women's, Children's, and Alternative Frame Bikes, # 64005, to allow you to tow the bikes level and give you the proper clearance for your trailer.

This rack can be used with an extender so long as the attachment is used within its parameters. For instance, the Malone Dual Hitch Extender # MPG544, can be used with the bike rack in the top 2 inch receiver and the ball mount in the lower receiver. This type of attachment will lower the hitch's weight capacity by 50%, so you will have to figure in the 31 lb weight of the carrier along with the weight of the attachment (in this case 20 lbs) and the weight of the loaded bikes, as well as the tongue weight of your motorcycle trailer to be within the tongue weight rating of the hitch itself. I've attached and article to assist in determining your trailer tongue weight.
