Im looking for chains with rim protection for tire size, 305/40-22.

The tire chains I recommend for your 305/40-22 tires are part # TC2327. These are a low profile square link chain that will fit your tires. These are Class S compatible. We unfortunately do not offer any tire chains with rim protection for your size tires, but the cable chains I mentioned would work and won't damage your rims.

The issue would be the clearance requirements of the chains and the interference it may cause but we do have some really low clearance options that can work great or these situations but I would need to know what size tires you have.
