Recommended Air Lift Suspension Enhancement System For 2011 Ram 3500
Question:
Please note my ram is not a dually either. I have a Pull Rite 5th wheel hitch on this short bed, mega cab model, Laramie Longhorn. The hitch is the semi-custom setup on the bed/frame. Can you recommend an air suspension setup for this setup? I am interested in the Air Lift systems, or possibly the firestone system.

For your 2011 Ram 3500 4WD Mega Cab with short bed, I recommend the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with Internal Jounce Bumpers - Rear Axle # AL88295. This is a high quality system that will provide you with a 5,000 lb capacity with adjustable air pressure between 5 and 100 psi. This will be compatible with your 5th wheel hitch brackets and rails.
The really nice part of this system that gives it a little edge is the Internal Jounce Bumper. This jounce gives you an extra layer of protection from damaging your factory suspension. If the air bags are too low in air pressure, the jounce will still protect you and help support the load. For a system without the internal jounce bumper, you can use the # AL88295 which has all of the other functions of this system.
You may also be interested in the Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System for Air Helper Springs - Hand-Held Remote - Single Path, # AL25980. This system allows you to adjust the air pressure in your springs, allows you to store 3 memory presets for frequently hauled loads, and gives you a wireless remote with gauge so you can adjust your springs whether inside or outside your vehicle.
