What Drilling Is Required On The 1997 Ford Crown Victoria To Install The Curt 13707 Hitch?

I have a couple of questions about the installation of this item #13707 It states that drilling is required for installation. What size drill bits are required and how many holes need to be drilled.

For your 1997 Ford Crown Victoria Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Class III - 2", # 13707. I've attached a video of an installation on a 1996 model and they didn't change anything between 96 and 97 models of the Crown Vic or the Grand Marquis. You will need to drill 4 holes. I recommend starting with a pilot hole about 1/4 inch and then making the final hole 9/16 inch.
