Use of tire chains on any vehicle is subject to the guidance of the auto maker. Some vehicles can use chains only on one axle or the other, while other vehicles may be able to use chains only with a specific tire size. It is best to check your owner's manual to be sure. I found an online edition of the manual for your 2014 Honda CR-V and on page 308 Honda indicates low-profile S-Class chains can be used, and on the front tires only.

Your CR-V came from the factory with one of two possible tire sizes, either 215/70-16 or 225/65-17. You can use the linked page to select your tire size (it will be indicated on each tire's sidewall) to then see all chains that fit that tire size.

Tire chains vary a lot in how easy they are to install. Chains that are tough to put on tend to sit in the vehicle where they do you no good. Better chains will include features like automatic tension control, self-centering and protection from scratches for the car's wheels. If you want chains just to have them in the car to meet a legal requirement then you can choose a basic low-cost cable type. For instance, for 215/70-16 tires we offer the Glacier # PW2016C which is S-Class-rated.

But if, as an example, you are an avid skier who will head to the mountain slopes twice a month then you will probably be using the chains often and you will benefit from a better set that are much easier to install and that will work far better than cable-type chains.

The linked articles on tire chains will help you decide which chain is your best option. Please keep in mind that no matter which chains you choose you should always reduce your driving speed to 30-mph and remove the chains as soon as you are off the snowy roads.
