Hitch Reducer from a 2 Inch to a 1-1/4 Inch Trailer Receiver that Can be Used for Towing
Question:
i have a 2 inch receiver on my car and my old car had a 1 1/4. Could I use a reducer to tow a pop up trailer motorcycle trailer? I see in comments they only talk about bike racks. Nothing about towing.

The Brophy Hitch Reducer # HT02 is a 2 inch to 1-1/4 inch hitch reducer that can be used for towing. It also includes a pin and clip to hold your 1-1//4 inch ball mount.
Another option is to replace your ball mount with a 2 inch. A great option is the B&W Tow & Stow # BWTS10049B. This includes 3 different sized hitch balls, a 7 inch drop or 7-1/2 inch rise, and the ability to stow the balls beneath your hitch when not towing. A lot of states are creating laws preventing drivers from having ball mounts installed while they aren't towing and this would prevent the need to remove and store a ball mount.
If you would like a locking hitch pin for your 2 inch receiver you can use the Receiver Lock # e98880.
