I mad going to connect the coach 12v charge line to my toads. Several people recommend a diode. What diode do I need for the charge line?

For a single diode to prevent current backfeed the part # RM-790 would be a great option.

Diodes like the part #RM-790 have two wires on the input side so that you can have two different power sources activating a single circuit (the out side) and not have to worry about the power circuits backfeeding on each other.

The Roadmaster Single Park Light Diode #RM-690 can withstand 85 continuous amps at 12 volts. As long as your 12V alternator doesn't exceed this power output the diode can indeed be used for your application without issue.
