Trailer Hitch and Bike Rack Recommendation for 2015 Nissan Rogue for Carrying Beach Cruisers
Question:
Im looking for recommendations for both a receiver hitch and a bike rack for a 2015 Nissan Rogue SV. I cant figure out if I need a Class 1 or Class 2 hitch. I plan on strapping on 2 beach cruisers that are somewhat heavy - roughly 40~45lbs for each so a total weight of 90lbs max.

For heavier bikes you would want to go with a higher rated trailer hitch on your 2015 Nissan Rogue SV like the Class III Draw Tite part # 75902. One big advantage the Draw Tite hitches have over the Curt hitches is that they do not require the use of stabilizer straps like part # 18050 when using a non-supported bike rack.
Then for a bike rack with enough capacity for the weight of your heavier beach cruisers the Thule T2 Pro XTR part # TH69TX would be an excellent option. The weight capacity for this rack is 60 lbs per bike and can be used for 1-4 bikes with a maximum of 160 lb capacity when carrying 4 bikes. The 2-bike version of this is the Thule T2 Pro XTR part # TH83JV. I attached a review video that shows these racks demoed.
