Recommended Class III Trailer Hitch & Wiring Harness for 2017 Jeep Cherokee

Question:

I see that you offer three choices of trailer hitch for my 2017 Jeep Cherokee and choice of wire harnesses. Can you recommend one hitch or provide me with some comparison between the hitches that you offer for my vehicle? Thanks.

All of the hitches offered for your 2017 Jeep Cherokee Latitude are the 2-inch size rated as Class III hitches and are shown on the linked page. Of the available options I suggest the Curt # C13172 because it offers a similar capacity than the similarly-priced etrailer # e73ZR and still offers no-drill installation which is illustrated in the linked video. All hardware is included.

If you have no factory tow package, for wiring you can use the hardwire kit # C56208. An installation video for this wiring kit is linked too. This installs by plugging in to your taillights and by running one wire up to the engine compartment for a 12V power connection. The linked article illustrates how to route that one wire. This 4-pole flat type wiring harness will provide stop, turn and tail light signals for your trailer.
