Is it Hard to Route Trailer Wiring Power Wire to the Battery on a 2016 Chevy Traverse LTZ

Question:

I understand that the battery in this vehicle is under the floor behind the passenger seat. Exactly how tough is it to route the power wire for the hitch wiring harness from the back of the Traverse to the battery so that its safe and well hidden?

Routing of a trailer wiring harness power wire isn't all that difficult at all. It just takes time. I have included a link to a help article I wrote with tips on routing the power wire.

But you won't have to route a power wire at all if you use trailer wiring harness # 118270 on your 2016 Chevy Traverse. It plugs into a factory connector already on the vehicle and includes the relays and fuses to make it active. I have linked a video showing an example installation for you.
