Rear Suspension Enhancement Recommendation for a 1995 Toyota Tacoma

Question:

1995 Toyota Tacoma Xtra Cab 4x4 with an 800lb Four Wheel Camper in the bed. 243K miles on the original suspension....an extra leaf spring, too. I put new stock shocks on 2 years ago. I live in the mountains and will be doing a lot of back country roads along with highway miles. Which application would be ideal for my rear suspension..Timbrens or Super Springs? Camper will be on 24-7! Thanks

For your application with an extra leaf spring already installed on the 1995 Toyota Tacoma, I would go with the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System, # TTORTAC4A. It will not affect the empty ride of the vehicle, the springs get more rigid under load for more support, they are easy to install, and they are very cost effective. Since you will be on a lot of back roads, the added bonus of these springs acting as additional shocks will help out with ride quality as well.

I have included a link to the installation details below. In the event that the extra leaf spring you added interferes with installation, it will have to be removed, however, these springs do have a capacity of up to 3,600 pounds which should compensate for the removed leaf spring.
