Recommended Bug And Rain Deflectors For A 2003 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab

Question:

“ Expert Reply: The RAS Suspension Systems essentially preload your leaf springs making them stiffer to prevent sag. This will affect your unloaded ride quality but not as negatively as some other compatible suspension enhancements for your Tacoma. These systems are super easy to adjust tension on so you could always lower the tension when unloaded if you werent happy with the ride quality and then add more tension when its time to haul.” Would this help improve the ride in a heavily loaded truck filled with passengers and gear? Or is it more designed for towing? BTW I ordered the talgate lock and am looking at the Weather Tech rain and bug deflectors. Thank you.

The RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit # RAS4511-T are stiffening your leaf springs and would help whether you were loading the bed with equipment or hauling a trailer. Either way it's a downward force on the bed and suspension (your leaf springs) so any sort of enhancement to help stiffen up the suspension will allow you to handle the load better. The stiffer you go though the worse your unloaded ride quality will be.

For rain deflectors we offer the WeatherTech Side Window Rain Guards with Dark Tinting # WT82093, which will come with both the front and rear deflectors for your Double Cab Tacoma. For the bug shield we offer the Weather Tech Easy-On Stone and Bug Shield Deflector # WT50070
