This Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2", # C13195, is a confirmed fit for your 2017 Kia Sorento and has a 750 lb tongue weight. This trailer hitch receiver does have an advantage over the Draw-Tite option based on that tongue weight rating. However the Curt hitch does recommend a support strap, # 18050, that many people don't like. Based on the weight ratings on the carriers, you wouldn't lose anything going with the Draw-Tite Hitch Receiver, # 75908, which is rated for 500 lbs tongue weight and does not require a stabilization strap.
I do want to point out the tongue weight rating is for the hitch itself, but you will also want to check in your owner's manual to get the vehicle rating. Based on what I was able to find online for your vehicle, the tongue weight capacity is 280 or 350 pounds depending on model. The Theta II 2.0 and Lambda II 3.3 motors are 350 lbs and the Theta II 2.4 motor is 280lbs. Based on this lower rating, your total tongue weight rating should not exceed that limit with your cargo carrier and wheel chair combined weight.
For a cargo carrier, I recommend the 32x48 Pro Series Steel Solo Cargo Carrier and Folding Ramp for 2" Hitches - 400 lbs, # PS10401-10402. This cargo carrier has 10 integrated tie-down holes and has a folding ramp that secures in place with integrated lock pins and spring clips. It also has a 4 inch shank rise for greater clearance.
I also recommend a trailer hitch receiver lock like # e98882 to secure your carrier to your vehicle and cargo straps like # IMF12637.
