Once in a while a trailer hitch that fits one year, make and model of vehicle will also happen to fit another year, make and model but usually this occurs only with vehicles that are related, such as a GMC Sierra pickup and its cousin a Chevrolet Silverado pickup.
In the case of the two Class I hitches made for your 2013 Kia Soul, the Draw-Tite # 24839 and the Curt # C11110, both fit only the 2010 through 2013 Kia Soul. No other vehicles are compatible with either hitch.
Do please note that when a hitch is removed from a car and is to be re-installed the original hardware that comes with the hitch when it is purchased new cannot be used a second time. Hitch installation hardware is single-use-only and reinstallation requires a new hardware kit, which we can provide.
Our part # RHK is such a hitch Replacement Hardware Kit. To order the correct one for any given hitch simply enter RHK into our search box and press enter. The click on the RHK and in the spaces provided (right above the Add-to-Cart button) enter in the part number for your particular hitch and select the manufacturer from the drop-down menu tool. Click Add-to-Cart and you are all set.
I linked a helpful article with tips for an easier hitch installation. I also linked the installation instructions for both of these hitches, In each one the specific tools required to install each hitch are indicated. Mostly basic hand tools are required but a torque wrench like # ALL944001 will be used to tighten all fasteners to the specs shown in the instructions.
