Recommended Winch Stand For Flat Trailer With Single Beam Tongue

Question:

I have an 8foot × 10foot flat trailer with a 2w × 3h single beam tongue. I use the trailer to haul up to 3 motorcycles at a time. The trailer is a deck over wheels. I need to use ramps to load trailer. For safety reasons I want to use my 2500lb pull ATV winch mounted on a winch post with a winch assembly and roller pulley wheel at a height of 22inch - 24. I would also like the post to be adjustable. Meaning, a short post with multiple adjustment holes mountedwelded to a mounting plate to mount to tongue. A longer post with winch assembly plate, ATV winch and pulley wheel, to slip over lower post. This would allow removal of winch for security reasons and not having a tall post possibly in the way of transporting something. Does such an animal exist? Thank you.

The winch post we offer is part # CE31013G, and the typical installation for this is on a boat trailer.

This post measures 30-inches tall and is designed for 2-inch wide trailer frames. It is made of 12-gauge steel and it has 14 mounting holes. I have attached a photo of the winch stand you can check out. There are mounting holes at the bottom of the stand that can be used to attach to your trailer tongue. You can use bolts and just remove the entire stand when you want to carry different cargo.
