Is Trailer Wiring Included with the # 36501 Hitch for the 2011 Escape Hybrid FWD
Question:
Dear etrailer does the drawtite class two hitch for the 2011 Escape Hybrid include the wiring attachements for trailer lights? or is this an additional kit?

Expert Reply:
The Draw-Tite Class II Trailer Hitch, item # 36501, for the 2011 Ford Escape does not include the wiring harness for the vehicle.
For trailer lighting you will need the Tow Ready Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring, item # 118551, for your 2011 Ford Escape. I have posted installation instructions and an install video for you to review.
You may also want to consider the following items to complete your Class II towing setup.
Draw-Tite Ball Mount, item # 36051
Hitch Ball, item # 19258
Hitch Ball, item # 19256
Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock, item # e98879
