Trailer Hitch Receiver for 1989 Chinook RV on Ford E-350 Chassis

Expert Reply:
The Curt Class IV Trailer Hitch Receiver # 14053 is confirmed to fit onto a 1989 Ford Van. Since your Chinook RV is built on the same frame the hitch will mount to the frame. However, if the RV has different styling and the bumper or fascia is different it may require trimming or modifications.
The installation details are attached. They do say that you will need to temporarily remove the spare tire and carbon canister. You will also need to relocate or modify the exhaust. Drilling is also required.
