Fit of 7- Way Wiring Harness to OEM Hitch on 2016 Honda Pilot.
Question:
I have a 2016 Honda Pilot. It came with the trailer hitch and bumper that covers it up but no wiring harness. Would # 118274 fit into the factory hole that is in the bumper? To hook up a trailer with a 4 wire connection, would we simply need # PK12716?

The Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118286 is the harness you need to wire up a 7-way plug to your 2016 Honda Pilot with the tow package. The harness will plug into your vehicle's wiring harness located in the Pilot's cargo area.
Mounting the 7-Way plug in the existing hole in the bumper will take some extra modification. Some of the screw holes may not line up between the plug and the mounting hole in the bumper. The aftermarket plug was not designed for the factory mounting hole, but can be made to fit by making new holes. Currently there are no aftermarket 7-Way connectors were designed to fit the factory cutout of this vehicle.
Another option is to get a bracket # PK12711U and extension # C57202. These parts will allow you to connect the extension with a clamp to your vehicle and the plug bracket to the extension.
You can also use the 7-way to 4-way connector adapter # PK12716 to hook up you flat 4-Way trailer to the 7-Way on your vehicle.
