Can Thule Low-Pro Snow Tire Chains be Left on a Vehicle Overnight and Could they be Easily Stolen

Question:

Could you tell me whether Thule chains could be left on tires overnight or during work hours when the car is parked outside in the snow? Or, do I have to remove them and reapply after and before every trip? Also, can I safely leave them on tires without worrying that someone could steal them ? I have a 97 Honda Prelude and was advised by your representative that these chains will fit my 205/50/16 tire. Thank you.

The question about the chains being stolen was going to be the point I made regarding leaving the chains on the vehicle. Yes, you could leave the chains on but they could be taken off of the vehicle by a thief if they are willing to do enough work.

Basically the car tires are going to be sitting on the chains so a thief could not just pull them off. They would have to go through the trouble of jacking up the car to get the weight off of them. It is unlikely, in snow and ice, that a would-be thief would go through that much trouble for tire chains so if it were me I would not worry about it.
