Wiring Harness Needed To Install Drawtite Activator II In My 2011 Dodge Ram 1500

Question:

I recently traded in my 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 for a 2011 Dodge Ram 1500. The old truck had a DrawTite Activator II installed. Before trading the truck in, I removed the brake controller thinking it would just plug in to the new truck. However, the plugs are not the same in the 2011 model. How can I install this brake controller in my new truck? Please help. Thank you.

The adapter you need that will plug into your 2011 Dodge Ram is the Tekonsha Brake Control Adapter, part # 3021-P.

If your Dodge Ram has a factory 7-way, you will only need the # 3021-P adapter.
