Rim and Tire Replacement for 1951 Spartan Spartanette

Question:

I am buying a 1951 Spartan Spartanette tandem axle. It has 15inch split rims with 6x5.5 bolt pattern and 7.00 tires on it. I want to buy new rims and tires to swap out and want to keep the original flavor of the trailer. The trailer weighs 4200#. I dont know the center bore size, but have blown up a photo and measured as carefully as possible and it comes out 3.6, so I presume it is 3.625 and not a 4.28 center bore. What tire and rim do you recommend? The trailer is 5 hr drive from here so I prefer not to buy one tire/rim and do a test fit, but that may be the only course of action.

The closest match we have to what you need is the Karrier Wheel and Tire part # AM32575 which is a conventional 15 inch trailer wheel that has the 6 on 5-1/2 inch bolt pattern you need and a radial ST225/75R15 tire size. The pilot diameter of this is 3.65 inches which it sounds like you have/need.
