Rear Axle Air Bag Kit and 5th Wheel Base Rails for 2000 Ford F-350 Dually Short Bed
Question:
I would like to put airlift bags on the rear of my truck. I have not yet purchased the bag kit or rails. The hitch is a pull-rite superglide 4400. which bag kit and hitch rail set should I buy?

Expert Reply:
Pull-Rite Super-Glide hitches come in a version that fits only their own rails and also in a version intended for industry-standard rails (ISRs) like those in the Curt Custom-Fit Base Rail Kit # C16443-204. This rail kit, which includes both custom under-bed brackets and industry-standard base rails, will accept any 5th wheel hitch made for ISRs.
For an AirLift rear-axle air bag kit that works with a 5th wheel installation you can use kit # AL88298. This fits both 2WD and 4WD trucks and it will give you up to 5000-lbs of load-leveling capability.
