I did some research on your ShoreLandr trailer and found it has a weight capacity of just under 3,000-lbs. To add electric brakes to your trailer I recommend part # AKEBRK-35R-SA for the right hand and part # AKEBRK-35L-SA for the left side of the trailer. These assemblies have a 4-bolt brake mounting flange pattern.

For a hub and drum I recommend part # AKHD-550-35-K. This hub and drum assembly includes Inner bearing (L68149) and race, outer bearing (L44649) and race, grease seal, grease cap, and lug nuts.

You would need to remove the 4-pole connector on your trailer and install a 7-way harness/plug like part # H20046 if it does not have one. You would use a junction box like part # 38656, and some 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 to run the brake output circuit from the junction box to the brake assemblies. Each brake magnet will have two wires. One wire will ground to the trailer frame, and the other wire will attach to the brake output circuit. The junction box gives you a way to join the wires and keep the wiring protected from the weather.

You need a 7-way trailer connector on your towing vehicle if you do not have one. Just let me know what kind of vehicle you have and I will be glad to make recommendations that will work for you.

Your towing vehicle will also need a brake controller like part # 90195. This is one of our most popular brake controllers because it is easy to install and operate.
