Recommended Skid Wheels for a 29 Foot 2016 Forest River Sabre Light 5th Wheel Trailer

Question:

I need to install skid rollers/ wheels on my 2016 Sabre Light by Forest River 5th wheel, Length is 29 feet, weight is 7500 lbs. The last 2 inchs of the frame drags my driveway when backing in and pulling out, I am looking at #UF48-979011rollers. Would you recommend this part for this 5th wheel and application?

The Ultra-Fab Skid Wheels # UF48-979011 are a good option for your situation. Your trailer's length comes in just under the recommended max of 30 feet, and the 4 inch diameter wheels will easily handle the drag that you're experiencing. However, these skid wheels are going to stick out below your trailer's frame about 6 inches. To avoid any ground clearance issues, I would recommend part # UF48-979021. These smaller skid wheels will give you better ground clearance while eliminating the frame scraping that is occurring whenever you back in or pull out of your driveway.
