Skid Wheel Recommendation for Smaller Utility Trailer

Question:

I am looking for a drag wheel that I can attach to an Utility class 3 trailer, on a 2000 Honda Oddysey. The van has air bags within the coils, at 35 lbs. but at times, with a large load, the trailer accessory drags. I was looking at the UF48-979014 wheels, but I am not sure that they will have sufficient clearance when going down the street or hitting a hole in the road. Can you please advise on the usage of such a product. Thank youl

Expert Reply:

For such a lightweight trailer you would instead want to go with the skid wheel part # UF48-979021 to mount on the frame of your trailer. These skid wheels will stop your trailer from dragging and are only 2 inches tall so they wouldn't significantly reduce your ground clearance.

These will need to be welded on.
