Will Air Bags with Weight Distribution Help 2015 Ram with Sag While Towing
Question:
I have a 2015 Ram 1500 crew cab and bumper tow a 29ft travel trailer about 7K loaded with about 800 lb tongue weight. From what I see and read about the Ram rear suspension is very soft and s quickly. I have a WD hitch and this bring the truck almost back to level need about 1 more inch rise in the rear. Is the airlift 1000 a good choice for this or is there a better option?

An Air Lift suspension kit for your 2015 Ram 1500 like the Air Lift kit part # AL60818 will help give you additional rear suspension support and would help reduce the sag you have but if you have a properly rated and set up WD system that sag should have all but almost disappeared.
I attached an install video for the Air Lift kit as well.
When you go to use the Air Lift with the WD system you will need to first inflate the air bags and then set up the amount of spring bar tension needed. Don't go too crazy with air pressure as the ride quality will get harsh.
