Trailer Hitch and Wiring Recommendation for a 2011 BMW X5
Question:
Hello I have 2011 BMW X5 35i. I see you have a hitch available for this vehicle. Originally I brought it to UHAUL who stated they could not do the work since it required special German only parts because the BMW was manufactured in Germany and not the US. Is there a separate package you have to address this? Also are there wiring harnesses available? Thank you.

If your 2011 BMW X5 was originally from Germany then the hitch fits we offer aren't going to be guaranteed to fit since everything we offer is only confirmed to fit US spec vehicles. Is your BMW right or left hand drive? If the vehicle is left hand drive like US cars are and was intended for use in the US the Draw Tite Hitch part # 75600 would be a confirmed fit.
For trailer wiring you would want the part # 119250KIT which is a confirmed fit for US vehicles as well. I attached an install video for this on a similar 2011 X5 as yours.
