Roof Rack Kayak Carrier and Standup Paddleboard Carrier Recommendation for 2006 Toyota Highlander

Hi, What recommendations do you have to carry two 31 inch paddle boards and one kayak on my 2006 Toyota Highlander with factory installed crossbars? Im looking at the Thule 835 Pro to carry the kayak but will I have enough room to carry the paddle boards? Thank you.

Your best option for fitting your kayak and two paddleboards on the factory crossbars of your 2006 Toyota Highlander will be the Yakima JayLow part # Y04073 since it carries the kayaks at an angle which leaves more room for the Thule SUP Taxi part # TH810001 which can carry up to 2 paddleboards.

You would have to measure the length of your bars to determine if this would all fit. Basically the length of the bars minus 31 inches for the SUPs will be how much room you have for the kayak carrier. Most likely you would be fine but you should still check that and the weight capacity of your roof as well.
