Trailer Hitch and Wiring for a 2015 Subaru Outback with Rear Bumper Underguard Trim

I have a 2015 Subaru Outback w/the rear bumper under guard is the C12136 compatible. thanks

Yes, Curt trailer hitch # C12136 will fit all models of the 2015 Subaru Outback including yours. I have included a link to a video showing an example installation for you. If you plan on doing some towing you can use ball mount # C45521. For a 1-7/8 inch ball use # 19257 and for a 2 inch use # 19258. For trailer wiring you can use # 118467 to add a 4-Way flat connector to the rear of the vehicle.
If you are using the hitch for accessories and not to tow then Curt also says you have to use stabilization strap # 18050 when using this hitch for any non-trailer load (such as a bike rack or cargo carrier) per their warranty requirements.
