Is there a Minimum Ground Clearance Requirement for Using a TruCenter Steering Stabilizer

Question:

What is the recommended minimal road clearance of the Trucenter steering stabilizer. My installation places it 5.5 inches from the road.

The TruCenter steering stabilizers are meant to be mounted parallel with and behind the tie rod. It may be necessary to use shims between the tie rod bracket and the TruCenter unit to allow for clearance and to keep it from binding. You may not have to use shims either. Basically it should hang about as far down as the tie rod, maybe a bit lower since some of the TruCenter components are thicker than the tie rod. There isn't a minimum ground clearance required for the unit.
