Components Needed To Add Brake Controller To 2010 Nissan Pathfinder With 4-Way Trailer Connector
Question:
I saw a video for 39510 It looks like this is for a 2011 Nissan Pathfinder, will the same information work for the 2010 pathfinder with an existing 4 pole connector? Ive checked under the hood and I have a spot for a relay and under the dash, Ive got a harness, I just want to make sure the one in the video will work for the 2010 model. Also the portion about clipping off an existing clip to wire the 12v and brake controller from the 7 pin to the existing wiring is the same. This looks like a fairly simple installation, I just want to ensure the 2011 and 2010 pathfinders are laid out the same and if the same part numbers will work. Thanks,

The Video you said you have watched for the Tekonsha Voyager, part # 39510 will be the same for your 2010.
As the video shows you will also need part # 3050-P for the plug-in harness. One end plugs into the back of the brake controller and the other end plugs into the port located under the dash by the diagnostic port.
You will need part # ETBC7 which will have the duplex wiring and but connectors you need to complete the installation as shown in the attached video. You will also need the Curt Relay Kit, part # C57000. This will have the brown relay you need for 12V power as shown in the video. The relay is not available as a separate item.
For the electrical connections I recommend dielectric grease like part # 11755. This keeps moisture and dirt out of the connections.
