Do I need sway bars foe pulling 4 x 8 trailer on 2009 honda civic?

For such a small trailer you would not need to install an anti sway bar while towing with your 2009 Honda Civic.
The Curt hitch part # C11604 is a confirmed fit for your 2009 Honda Civic and would work great for towing a small trailer as long as your owners manual states that you can tow the weight of your trailer.
For trailer wiring you would want the # C59496. For a ball mount part # C45521. For a ball part # A-82 for 2 inch or part # A-80 for 1-7/8 inch ball.
