Ball Mount Recommendation for 2012 Chevrolet Cruze With 1-1/4 Inch Trailer Hitch
Question:
I was wondering what ball mount would fit my 2012 Chevy Cruze? I already have the 1 1/4 inch trailer hitch.

We have a couple different style ball mounts that will work with the hitch on your Cruze.
For a standard ball mount I recommend the Curt, part # C45522. This ball mount has a 3-7/8 inch rise to help provide a bit more ground clearance. For a 1-7/8 inch hitch ball I recommend part # C40001, and for a 2-inch ball I recommend part # C40018.
If you like the looks of the Euro ball mounts I recommend part # C45592 that comes with a 2-inch hitch ball and I recommend part # C45591 for a 1-7/8 inch hitch ball.
The ball mount you came from, part # 36065 will also work with your 1-1/4 receiver. This ball mount has a 5-inch rise. The hitch balls I mentioned above will work with this ball mount as well.
