Just purchased a 2017 Subaru Forester with factory cross bars up top. Will the Yakima Keelover system work with those bars?

You can take a quick measurement of your crossbars on the roof of your Forester to see if the Yakima KeelOver Rooftop Canoe Carrier, part # Y04069 will work with them.

The Keelover will fit crossbars with a maximum dimension of 3-1/2 x 3-1/2 inches. If your crossbars are that size or smaller then the # Y04069 will work great on your Forester.

Yes, you can flip the Yakima Keelover part #Y04069 so that the housing is inside of the canoe if you like. I attached a picture I took from the instructions that shows that this is an option you have.
