I contacted our representative at Tekonsha and he informed me that they have just released a tech bulletin on wiring a brake controller on the Chevrolet Uplander. He informed me that you cannot run the stoplight wire directly to the brake light switch.
You will need to locate the Body Control Module (BCM) which is located under on the left side of the dash on the drivers side. It will be located above your left knee if you were seated in the driver seat. You will need to locate the white wire going into the BCM which leads to pin 30. You will need to splice into the white wire which operates the vehicles 3rd brake light which will send power to the brake controller.
You cannot use part # RM-751426 on your 2006 Chevrolet Uplander to activate the brakes on your camper.
